I am still around

I know haven't posted in a while because for the last 3 months or so I was obsessed with The Wire.



Its one of the best shows I have ever seen - quite possibly the best ever for me, although after reading Ishamel Reed's criticism of The Wire, I do being to wonder if it is exploitation of the African American community as being affected by drugs and not showing how drugs are equally - if not more, destructive to white communities.

I personally believe that the show did more good than anything because it told a story that needed to be told.

Things are "changing" in our society so I've been keeping busy with following that.

Btw, I want to say that everyone - especially every Muslim should check out Rory Kennedy's latest documentary that was put on DVD - The Ghosts of Abu Ghraib - It was legally informative and really tragic.
